Community Service Project

The Boys and Girls Basketball teams will be holding a fundraiser for the Humane Society of Chittenden County at home basketball games on Jan.28^th and 30^th.

·         The Humane Society of Chittenden County is not part of a national organization; they’re a private, Vermont nonprofit

·         HSCC does not receive any funding from the government

·         HSCC counts on the support of its community to meet its annual budget, which is just under $1 million

·         Every dog HSCC cares for costs the organization $1,000, and every cat $500

·         HSCC also works hard to end animal cruelty, educate children and adults, and support pet owners who need help caring for their pets

·         Please help HSCC save animal lives by giving whatever you can!

Donations can be made at the home basketball games on Jan.28 and Jan. 30.  Checks can be made out to The Humane Society of Chittenden County and SCS basketball fundraiser in the memo.

The teams will also hold a Bake Sale on the same dates.
